Vocational Service

We are currently preparing for the next Pride of Workmanship Award. These are to thank members of the public that are nominated by both Rotarians and non-Rotarians that feel the recipients have gone further than required for their respective role. These could be in sales, customer service, management in any retails or any type of business, or work practice.

This years winners were a wonderful cross section of the community, including two hospitality staff from Events 55 at Workers Blacktown.

Congratulations to all the awardees.

The TAFE Awards will also be held this year. This is another program that is greatly appreciated where through the help of our sponsor we are able to highlight people that have shown they have done the hard yards in their chosen field. This program where the recipients are chosen by their faculty.

POTY will be held once again in the beginning of 2020. This is an excellent program where, again with the help of a generous sponsor and supporter allows Police Officers from the Blacktown Police area Command to be congratulated.

Eagles RAPS awards will again be held this year highlighting young people that through circumstances who may have been out of their control, have gone ahead and shown that they can still gain an education.

Special Events

The Board decided that POTY and the TAFE Awards will be conducted under a Special Events banner even though they will still be overseen by and come under the banner of Vocational service.
