Our Club was lucky again this year to receive sponsorship
for our Seniors Christmas Party to be held on 28th November 2018.

In addition, Guardian Funerals Blacktown also provide

Solo bicycle rides by a Club member; Blacktown to Bourke (2005), Broken Hill to Blacktown (2007), Blacktown to Bega and up to Bomaderry (2008) to raise funds for an Australian Rotary Health 3 year research PhD investigating arthritis. Raising over $30,000
Raised over $19,000 (2009 - 2012) to fund a clean-water well and sanitation unit and purchase 4 acres of land for a Market garden for the ‘Masters Home of Champions’ Orphanage for young orphan children in Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa.
Following typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines in November 2013 we identified a need and raised $11,250 for Gamat Aral ('supplies for schools') to provide a bag consisting of a pad of ruled paper, notebook, assorted coloured papers, a folder, manila folders, pencil and sharpener, eraser, ballpoint pens, scissors, ruler, crayons, face towel, toothbrush, toothpaste and soap.
Raised $33,000 in 2014 for an Australian Rotary Health PhD Scholarship for research into Children's Heart Diseases. Funds were raised through Muscle Car cruises and a 'Stretch to the End' drive from Blacktown NSW to Cooktown, Qld and return.
Raised $38,500 in 2015 for an Australian Rotary Health PhD Scholarship for research into chronic kidney disease. Funds were raised through our inaugural Charity Golf Day held at Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club.
Raised $9, 917 to go towards other funds raised for an Australian Rotary Health PhD Scholarship for research into prostate cancer. These funds were raised through our President Mel Gray's bike ride from Bowral to Blacktown on 29th and 30th October 2016.
Raised $14,620 in 2016 for an Australian Rotary Health PhD Scholarship for research into prostate
cancer. Funds were raised through our second Charity Golf Day held at Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club.
Raised $7,000 at our Gala Fundraising evening on the 1st October 2019;
Half for a Phototherapy machine for Blacktown Hospital Neo-Natal unit.
half for Drought relief for the people of the District of Forbes, a visit organised for November 2019 and another planned for May 2020.
A special fundraising evening is planned for Saturday the 30th may 2020 to assist with the building of a English language learning school in East Timor. More details to follow.
